The isomet 4000 diamond precision slicer is a precision machine tool produced by standard & Noble. Equipped with diamond grinding wheel, it is used for cutting steel, steel alloy and super hard material specimens, electron microscope and metallographic specimens. The equipment has high positioning accuracy: up to 2 μ m, it can realize precise cutting. Equipped with flexible cutting system of electron microscope: it can automatically adjust the cutting amount and reduce the impact damage to the sample. When cutting, the sample can rotate along a certain angle to cut a certain crystallographic surface.

It can slice ceramic, metal, plastic, etc. (it can be non-conductive material).
