This product is titanium dioxide with a rutile crystal structure, with a particle size range of 0.5–1.5 microns (i.e., 500–1500 nanometers), classified as typical micron-sized titanium dioxide particles. The crystal structure is tetragonal rutile (a stable form, predominantly found in nature), composed of densely packed oxygen ions with titanium ions in octahedral coordination, resulting in a dense and stable structure. It appears as a white powder (or uniformly dispersed liquid) and has extremely high chemical stability (resistant to acids, bases, and high temperatures), is non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Compared with the anatase type (a metastable crystal form), rutile remains structurally stable above 600°C, offers stronger UV shielding, and has lower photocatalytic activity, making it suitable for applications requiring high thermal resistance, UV protection, and material stability.
