This product is titanium dioxide with a rutile crystal structure, with a particle size range of 0.5–1.5 microns (i.e., 500–1500 nanometers), belonging to typical micron-sized particles. The crystal structure is tetragonal rutile (the stable mainstream crystal form in nature), composed of closely packed oxygen ions with titanium ions coordinated in octahedrons, resulting in a dense and stable structure. Its appearance is a white powder (or uniform dispersion), featuring extremely high chemical stability (resistant to acids, bases, and high temperatures), non-toxicity, and environmental friendliness. Compared to anatase (a metastable crystal form), rutile maintains its structure at temperatures above 600°C, has stronger ultraviolet shielding capabilities, and very low photocatalytic activity, making it suitable for functional material applications requiring high heat resistance, weather resistance, and UV protection.
