This product is titanium dioxide with a rutile crystal structure, with a particle size range of 0.5–1.5 microns (i.e., 500–1500 nanometers), belonging to typical micron-sized particles. The crystal structure is tetragonal rutile (the stable mainstream form in nature), composed of closely packed oxygen ions with titanium ions in octahedral coordination, resulting in a dense and stable structure. Its appearance is a white powder (or uniformly dispersed liquid), featuring extremely high chemical stability (acid and alkali resistant, high temperature resistant), non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Compared to the anatase type (metastable crystal form), the rutile type maintains structural integrity at temperatures above 600°C, has stronger ultraviolet shielding capabilities, and very low photocatalytic activity, making it suitable for functional material applications requiring high heat resistance, weather resistance, and UV protection.
