This product is titanium dioxide with a rutile crystal structure, with a particle size range of 0.5–1.5 micrometers (i.e., 500–1500 nanometers), classified as a typical micron-scale functional material. Its crystal structure is tetragonal rutile (the most stable form of titanium dioxide in nature), consisting of closely packed oxygen ions with titanium ions in octahedral coordination. The structure is dense and the chemical bond energy is high. The appearance is a white to slightly yellowish-white powder (or uniformly dispersed solution), featuring extremely high chemical stability (resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and high temperatures), non-toxicity, and environmental friendliness. Compared with anatase (a metastable crystal form), rutile maintains a stable crystal structure at high temperatures above 600°C, provides stronger UV shielding, has extremely low photocatalytic activity, and is specially used in fields with stringent requirements for weather resistance, heat resistance, and UV protection.
