Focusing on the cutting-edge breakthroughs in smart responsive hydrogels, we have developed a multifunctional nanocomposite hydrogel system covering four core applications: bone repair, wound management, cancer therapy, and 3D bioprinting:
1️⃣ Bone Repair: Hyaluronic acid/collagen hydrogels loaded with black phosphorus quantum dots promote osteogenic differentiation in diabetic osteoporosis models through photothermal effects, while integrating real-time monitoring capabilities to accelerate bone regeneration;
2️⃣ Wound Management: Janus wettable hydrogel dressings combined with antimicrobial peptides (LL-37) achieve unidirectional drainage and infection control, precisely adapting to burn wounds and chronic ulcers;
3️⃣ Targeted Therapy: PEG hydrogels carrying pH-responsive nanozymes release chemotherapy drugs and generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) triggered by the tumor microenvironment, simultaneously reversing immune suppression;
4️⃣ Regenerative Medicine: Polyacrylic acid-based hydrogels combined with directed stem cell differentiation enable 3D bioprinting of biomimetic vascular and cartilage tissues, breaking through bottlenecks in cardiovascular and joint repair.
