Abstract

To address the treatment challenges of infectious bone defects, this study developed an engineered polyamino acid hydrogel with continuous antibacterial and osteogenic activation properties. Its role in infection control and bone defect repair was validated through in vitro and in vivo experiments, achieving single-stage reconstruction for this condition.
