IF: 15 Sequential degradation of bone adhesive enhances bone integration
QQ Academic Group: 1092348845

Detailed

This research focused on the core issue of the mismatch between the degradation of bone adhesives and the sequential process of bone healing. A polyurethane-based composite bone adhesive TNC was developed. This material exhibits excellent initial adhesion and biocompatibility in complex bone environments. It can achieve synchronous degradation behavior through a calcium-mediated regulatory mechanism, providing stable mechanical support for the fracture site in the early stage and completing degradation to meet the repair requirements during the bone remodeling phase. It effectively promotes bone regeneration in animal cranial fracture models, providing a new research framework for designing bio-responsive bone repair adhesives that match the bone healing process.
