General description


It is a crystalline hybrid porous solid composed of inorganic subunits connected to organic linkers (such as carboxylates or phosphonates). This is a commercial adsorbent with HKUST-1 structure. HKUST-1 is a blue cubic crystal copper-based ultra-microporous metal framework (MOF). It is prepared by solvothermal method. Its surface area may be close to 2200m2/g2.
