Detailed

New two-dimensional transition metal carbides, nitrides, and carbonitrides ( MXenes ) have become new candidates for applications in electronics, optoelectronics, and energy storage. Since its first discovery in 2011 MXenes has received increasing attention due to its unique physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Especially the unique optical and electrical properties, including transparency, saturation absorption and high conductivity, make MXenes play different roles in photodetectors, such as transparent electrodes, Schottky contacts, light absorbers and plasma materials . Considering the processability, MXenes also has great potential for large-scale synthesis, and is therefore favored by people in the application of electronic and photonic devices.

Achievements

Recently, Professor Wu Jiang of the University of Electronic Science and Technology published a paper titled "Recent Advances in 2D MXenes for Photodetection" in the top international journal Advanced Functional Materials . Although it has only been explored in recent years compared to other 2D materials, MXenes has shown great potential in low-cost and high-performance photoelectric detection. Related photodetectors, including simple photoconductors, self-driven photodetectors, and enhanced plasma have been reported. The research progress of MXenes -based photodetectors in recent years is reviewed .

in conclusion

In summary, MXenes show interesting material properties, paper, we focused on the light conductor, self-powered plasma-assisted photodetectors and photodetector and other MXenes based light electric Advances detector area. Controllable optical and electrical properties enable MXenes to play different roles in photodetectors and serve as a multi-functional platform for different device configurations. Nevertheless, as a new candidate materials for optoelectronic devices, there are still some unresolved challenges such as synthetic light for electrical detection MXenes manufacturing semiconductors, air stability and long-term large-scale equipment. Currently most reported optical power detection device is still mostly Ti 3 C 2 T the X- study. In other MXenes need more exploration to develop MXenes light electric full potential detection area. In short, since the versatility, the unique optical and electrical properties of, MXenes light power has broad application prospect in the probe material.
