Wound dressings play a crucial role in the management and healing of all types of wounds, from minor cuts and chronic ulcers to severe burns. However, traditional dressings are often compromised by issues such as adhesion tendencies and insufficient barrier function. These limitations highlight the urgency of research into innovative wound dressings. This study uses electrospinning technology to composite polycaprolactone and polyvinylpyrrolidone into a bilayer film. Each layer is infused with different functional components—linalool, black phosphorus, and triclosan—to provide antibacterial and photothermal conversion effects, thereby meeting the standards for use as a wound dressing. Due to differences in the hydrophilicity of the materials, the bilayer membrane exhibits a certain interfacial energy difference between its two sides, allowing liquid to be discharged from one side to the other. The results show that the prepared bilayer exhibits excellent antibacterial effects and good biocompatibility, as well as outstanding photothermal effects and unidirectional hydrophobicity. The currently obtained multifunctional composite film has been successfully prepared by integrating a combination of antibacterial, photothermal, and asymmetric wettability properties, providing a new approach for the development of wound dressings.
