Which molecules are not involved in the solvent-assisted spin coating of the light-emitting layer of OLED devices?

source:material synthesis Views:3time:2026-03-02material synthesis: 1092348845

已传文件:photo/1772413442.png The OLED light-emitting layer can be prepared dryly without solvents, mainly relying on the vacuum thermal evaporation technology. Under this technical path, the luminescent materials themselves must have good thermal stability and an appropriate sublimation temperature, typically lower than 400℃ and without decomposition. For typical solvent-free vacuum evaporation, the most core molecular types are:
Metal complexes: Ir complexes (phosphorescence), Pt complexes, Alq₃.
Pure organic large π-conjugated molecules: carbazole derivatives (CBP/mCP), DPVBi, anthracene derivatives (blue light host), and 4CzIPN and other TADF materials.
The common feature of these materials is: moderate molecular weight (usually 300-1000 g/mol), higher thermal decomposition temperature than sublimation temperature, and easy to form uniform and pinhole-free films through vacuum evaporation.
