This genetically engineered gel attracts residual tumor cells and induces immunogenic cell death, reshapes the tumor microenvironment and induces systemic anti-tumor immunity. Combined with checkpoint blockade, it inhibits recurrence and enhances long-term protection after tumor resection. This research was published in Advanced Materials under the title "Cold Atmospheric Plasma-Activated Decellularized Extracellular Matrix Gel as a Tumor-Infiltrating Immunoactivation Platform for Post-Surgical Cancer Immunotherapy".
