2 ternary material batching procedure and key process control:


The ternary material has narrow particle size distribution and strong solvent wettability. It is recommended to dry it in an oven at 120°C for 4 hours before use.


3 The batching procedure of the positive electrode

 4 Ingredient order


 (1) First weigh 90% of the NMP solvent by mass, and slowly add it to the batching tank.


 (2) Weigh the corresponding PVDF binder, slowly add it to the PVDF binder, mix and stir at slow or medium speed for 360min.


 (3) Weigh a certain amount of conductive carbon black and graphite powder and add them to the slow-rotating batching tank at a constant speed or stop the feeding in stages. First stir at a slow speed for 30 minutes, then quickly stir for 90 minutes. During the stirring process, scrape and stir frequently Dry pulp on the side of the barrel.


 (4) Weigh a certain amount of ternary material powder and slowly add it to the batching tank. First, stir at a slow speed for 30 minutes, and then quickly stir for 240 minutes. During the stirring process, the dry slurry on the side of the mixing tank should be scraped off frequently.


 (5) Slowly add the remaining NMP solvent to the batching tank in batches, and stir at a slow speed for 30-60 min. (If the speed is too fast, there will be bubbles).


 (6) Then vacuum filter and sieve (120 mesh ~ 150 mesh sieve), or do not need to sieve.


 (7) Slurry viscosity control: gap coating 7000~10000mpa.S, continuous pulping: 8000~10000mpa.S.


 5 Key control of production process


 (1) When feeding and pulling the pulp, the pulp must be stirred first, and the pulp needs to be stirred regularly during feeding. It is best to use an automatic air pressure feeding tank with a stirring paddle to ensure the uniformity of the pulp. In the production process, if the slurry is not used for a long time (more than 2h), the slurry needs to be re-used.


 Stir for 60 minutes, and the shelf time can be extended under agitation.


 (2) The temperature of the pulping furnace should be controlled in different temperature zones. The front section should not exceed 100 °C, the middle section should not exceed 130 °C, and the final section should be 100 °C. The pulling speed is uniform, the pole piece baking temperature is 80-95 °C, and the vacuum degree is ≥- Bake for more than 12h under the condition of 0.08MPa, set for 2h


 Change nitrogen once.


 (3) The compaction density should be controlled between 3.55g/ml-3.65g/ml, and it should not be too compacted. If the compaction value is too high, it will affect the infiltration performance of the electrolyte and is not conducive to the performance of the battery.


 (4) The reversible capacity of the material is greater than 150mAh/g, the surface density ratio of the positive and negative electrode dressings is designed to be between 2.0 and 2.1, and the range of the surface density of the positive electrode sheet coating is 370g/m2-430 g/m2.


 (5) After injecting liquid, keep it at room temperature for more than 12 hours, and pay attention to control the environmental humidity.
