Product Overview
Bimetallic catalysts refer to catalysts that contain two metal atoms as active centers. The two metal atoms in bimetallic catalysts can exhibit different coordination environments and interaction patterns.They may be arranged closely together or spaced at a certain distance, interacting through a carrier-mediated effect. This unique structure gives diatomic catalysts different properties compared to traditional nanocatalysts. Compared with single-atom catalysts, diatomic catalysts offer a more diverse combination of active sites, capable of meeting more complex reaction requirements;In addition, a synergistic effect can occur between the two metal atoms, jointly regulating the adsorption and activation of reaction intermediates, thereby optimizing the reaction pathway, lowering the reaction energy barrier, and improving reaction efficiency.The bimetallic catalyst provided by Beike is obtained by high-temperature pyrolysis of nitrogen-containing carbon organics (such as PVP), resulting in an amorphous nitrogen-doped carbon support, with metal atoms derived from nitrate or chloride precursors.
