Transplantation of ultrathin AAO membrane
Ultrathin AAO templates can be transplanted to any substrate surface as masks for etching to form nanopore arrays, or depositing masks to form nanodot arrays, laboratory micrographs, nanoimprinting, etc. We have achieved the transplantation of ordered ultra-thin AAO membranes as early as 2005 (G.Q. Ding, et al., Fabrication of Controllable Free-standing Ultrathin Porous Alumina Membranes, Nanotechnology 16 (2005) 1285).
Base Selection: It has been implemented on Si, SiO 2/Si, ITO, glass, Cu, HOPG and other substrates. Bases are usually prepared and processed by customers. Polymer substrates need special treatment and are slightly expensive.
